MA22 proudly presents Audrey’s Toy Chest.
The MA22 Christmas toy drive ensures Christmas occurs for veteran families and is one where our community surely opens their hearts and wallets. What started off as a promise to a Marine veteran to battle a heroin addiction, promising Christmas would occur for his 6-year-old daughter in 2018, the event has grown into an event that recently sponsored 135 children of local veterans. Christmas lists are collected from the children of local veterans via the Veteran Affairs clinic in Brick, NJ, as well as submitted to MA22 via our website.
Gifts purchased through the Amazon wishlist by our community are shipped to Farro’s Tees in Toms River, where they are sorted and picked up before Christmas. Gifts are also collected via drop-off locations like Scott Motor Coach. Alliance Tattoo, Amendment 21, Pure Yoga, Vetwork, Dollar Tree, and several Super Buy Rites in Toms River. The event culminates with free Santa pictures at Farro’s tees. This giving endeavor has prevented suicides and brought veterans into our realm of restoration.
